Canada — Scott Lake Lodge on the Northwest Territories/Saskatchewan border, remote and wild, built for trophy pike and lake trout across half a million acres of water. Roughly $9,195 for 5 days, $17,195 for 10.

Domestic — Bristol Bay Lodge in Alaska (pictured up top) for the fly-out, bucket-list version of a home-soil trip at roughly $14,950 a week, or Big Hole Lodge in Montana if you don't even want to leave the country — no passport, just wild browns, rainbows, brookies and cutthroats, roughly $4,966–$8,601.
