FFIP Certified Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 26, 2026 · Fly Fishing Insider Podcast, operated by Bacasa Industries LLC · Contact: Christian@flyfishinginsiderpodcast.com

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the FFIP Certified program ("Program") offered by Fly Fishing Insider Podcast ("FFIP," "we," "us"). By checking the agreement box at checkout and purchasing a certification plan, you ("Member," "you") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase.

1. What FFIP Certified is

FFIP Certified is Christian Bacasa's good-faith personal endorsement, based on his own experience and vetting, that your operation meets the standards of the Program. It is a marketing and recognition program. It is not a guarantee of any trip, catch, booking, or outcome, and FFIP is not the operator of your business. You remain fully independent and solely responsible for your services.

2. Eligibility & your obligations

As an FFIP Certified Guide, Lodge, or Outfitter, you agree to:

  • Deliver the fishery quality, guiding, hospitality, and service on which your certification was granted.
  • Hold and maintain every license, permit, guiding/outfitting credential, and insurance policy required to legally operate.
  • Put client safety first and run a safe, professional operation.
  • Represent your FFIP Certified status truthfully — only while an active Member in good standing — and keep the badge linked to your official FFIP profile.
  • Treat anglers referred by FFIP with prompt, professional care.
  • Notify FFIP promptly of any material change — ownership change, closure, loss of a license or insurance, or a safety incident.
  • Never use the certification in a misleading way or in any manner that harms FFIP's reputation.

3. The badge & marks

While your membership is active and in good standing, FFIP grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to display the FFIP Certified badge and marks on your website and materials, linked to your FFIP profile. You obtain no ownership in the marks. If your membership ends for any reason, you will remove the FFIP Certified badge and marks from your site and materials.

4. Fees, billing & auto-renewal

Your plan renews automatically. Certification plans are sold as an annual (12-month) term and automatically renew at the then-current rate at the end of each term unless you cancel.

  • You may cancel at any time (see Section 5).
  • All sales are final and there are no refunds — including for partial terms, unused time, or after cancellation.
  • On each renewal, FFIP issues a renewal invoice/receipt for the new term. Invoices are issued with no credits — no proration, credit, or refund is applied.
  • You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file for renewals.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by managing your subscription in your account or by emailing Christian@flyfishinginsiderpodcast.com. Cancellation stops future renewals so you are not billed again. Your certification and published profile remain active through the end of your current paid term; no refund or credit is issued for the remaining time. At the end of the term your listing is unpublished and you will remove the badge and marks. FFIP may also suspend or terminate a membership for violation of these Terms or conduct that harms the Program, without refund.

6. Content & media license

To build and promote your profile, you grant FFIP permission to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish the copy, images, and other public materials from your website and any materials you submit (photos, text, links). This license is for creating your FFIP profile, blog features, emails, social posts, and related Program promotion. You represent that you own or have the rights to the materials you provide and to the content on your website, and that our use as described will not infringe anyone's rights. You may ask FFIP to correct or remove specific content, and we will make reasonable adjustments.

7. Endorsement, responsibility & indemnification

  • You understand FFIP Certified is a personal recommendation, not a guarantee of any trip, catch, or outcome, and that FFIP is not the operator of your business.
  • You are solely responsible for your own services, guiding, lodging, outfitting, safety, staff, equipment, and legal compliance, and you carry your own liability insurance.
  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Christian Bacasa, Fly Fishing Insider Podcast, and Bacasa Industries LLC from any claim, damage, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your operations, trips, staff, equipment, content you provide, or use of the FFIP Certified name and badge.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, FFIP's total liability relating to the Program is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months, and FFIP is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Publication & your review window

After you submit your intake form, FFIP builds your profile and the deliverables in your plan, typically drafting within hours and publishing within about one business day after Christian's review. Once published, you will be notified and may contact Christian with any concerns. Raising a concern will pause or adjust your listing while we fix it; that delay will not count against your term or penalize FFIP.

9. Term, changes & general

These Terms apply for as long as you are a Member. FFIP may update the Terms or Program from time to time; material changes apply at your next renewal. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of  Utah, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
