Keep Your Booking System. Add an Audience.
FFIP isn't another booking platform taking a cut of every trip. It's a flat, low annual fee that puts your operation in front of a dedicated fly fishing audience and every inquiry books direct with you. No commission. Ever.

Already run a booking tool?
Keep it. FFIP doesn't replace your calendar or your checkout. It adds the audience.
The problem
Marketplaces take a cut of every trip
10-30% per booking, every season, even from repeat clients.
The FFIP way
One flat fee a year
$0 commission
Same fee whether you book 2 trips or 200.
The math
Commission on about 4 guide days
$82.50 commission × 3.6 days = $297. That's a full year of FFIP.
What you get
Built in days. Working all year.
Your page, articles and listing go live within days. Your podcast mention follows. The plan runs a full 12 months.
The short answer
An inexpensive add-on, not a replacement
Most guides and lodges already run a booking tool (like The Flybook) and many list on marketplaces (like FishingBooker or Guidesly). Those tools handle the calendar or sell the trip, and charge monthly or per booking to do it. FFIP does the part they don't: a year of editorial exposure across our podcast, website, email list and social channels, for one flat fee that's often less than the commission on three or four guided days.
How it works

1. Pick a plan
Choose Guide, Lodge or Outfitter and check out in the FFIP shop. One flat annual fee, no commission, ever.
2. Answer 3 questionnaires
Your story & waters, your tactics, your species & flies. We email them right after purchase, and you can get a head start from the plan page.
3. We build it for you
Your partner page, directory listing, 3-article series and podcast mention. Christian reviews your operation personally before it goes live.
4. Anglers contact you directly
Inquiries go straight to your inbox. You quote, book and get paid your way. Renews yearly; cancel anytime before renewal.

What a busy season really costs a guide
Yearly cost by number of full guide days booked through each channel, at a $550 day rate.
Competitor pricing from publicly available sources as of October 2026 (Capterra listings for The Flybook; FishingBooker Help Center; Guidesly Help Center). Pricing changes; confirm current rates with each provider. Chart is illustrative at a $550 day rate. FFIP is designed to run alongside these tools, not replace them.
The math
What a trip is worth, and what commission costs you
Commission is charged on every trip, every season. FFIP is one flat fee a year. These are median published full-day rates from more than 160 guide services' own websites, for one or two anglers, with the full days of 15% commission it takes to equal FFIP Guide ($297):
Two ways to look at it

Path 2 · What one direct booking earns
Guide
Path 2 · What one direct booking earns
Lodge
The bottom line: a single direct-booked guide day (or a fraction of one lodge guest) pays for a full year of FFIP. Everything after that is profit you keep.

Now add lifetime value
A good client doesn't fish with you once. They come back next season, bring a buddy, book the spring and fall trips, and send their friends. On a marketplace, you pay commission on that client again and again. Through FFIP, they found you once, and every return trip is 100% yours.
Tip at 15% is the low end of the 15-20% norm most fly shops recommend; trip costs of $150 are an example (a Madison River vehicle shuttle alone runs about $40); lodge margin of 20% is an assumption, so use the calculator with your own numbers. Rates are medians of published prices on operators' own websites, gathered October 2026 (wade, float and boat trips; trout, bass, musky and saltwater inshore/flats; lodge packages from US, Bahamas and Belize lodges). Commission shown at 15%, the mid-range most-booked captains choose on FishingBooker. Your rates and results will vary.
