It's a filterable list of guides, lodges, and outfitters I've personally vetted and put my name behind as FFIP Certified. Filter by region, water type, species, or service on the directory page, and every result books direct with that operator — no middleman, no booking fee.

No. You book directly with the guide, lodge, or outfitter at their normal rate, same as if you'd found them any other way. FFIP doesn't add a fee or take a cut on these bookings, and there's no promo code to remember.

They're two different paths to a trip. The Certified directory is self-serve — you pick a partner and book direct yourself. Our Frontiers International Travel partnership is full-service trip planning — you tell us where you want to go, and a Frontiers specialist builds the whole trip for you, flights and lodging included. Use the directory when you already know where you're headed and want to book direct; use Frontiers when you want it planned for you.

The directory is growing — new guides and lodges get added as they're certified. It's my personal endorsement, based on my own vetting, that an operation meets FFIP's standards for fishery quality, guiding, hospitality, and service. I don't hand it out for a fee alone — I look at the water and the operation before a partner earns the badge.

No — and any guide who tells you otherwise doesn't understand fishing. Certification isn't a guarantee of any trip, catch, or outcome, and FFIP isn't the operator of any certified business. What it does mean: the operator maintains their licenses, insurance, and safety standards, and I personally stand behind the quality of what they offer.

Me — Christian. This isn't an anonymous review board or a pay-to-play badge mill. I personally review every operation before it's certified, and I keep an eye on standards afterward.

Tell me — reach out through our contact page with what happened. Certified members agree to treat anglers referred by FFIP with prompt, professional care, and to notify us of anything that changes their ability to deliver — a lost license, a safety incident, and so on. A real issue affects their certification.

A dedicated profile page on ffipodcast.com, a spot in the filterable directory, the FFIP Certified badge to display on your own site linked back to your profile, and ongoing exposure through FFIP's blog, social, and email channels.

Keep delivering the fishery quality, guiding, and hospitality your certification was based on; hold every license, permit, and insurance policy your operation legally requires; put client safety first; represent your FFIP Certified status honestly while your membership is active; and tell us promptly if something material changes — ownership, closure, a lost license, a safety incident.

Certification is sold as an annual plan that renews automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel. All sales are final — there are no refunds for partial terms or unused time. Full detail is in the FFIP Certified Terms & Conditions.

Yes, any time — reach out through our contact page or manage it in your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; your certification and profile stay live through the end of your current paid term, then your listing is unpublished and you'll remove the badge and marks from your site.

Yes, and we need that permission to do it — signing up grants FFIP the right to use the copy, images, and public materials from your website (plus anything you submit) to build your profile, blog features, and related promotion. You can ask us to correct or remove specific content at any time.
