This is the most premium dry fly leader on the market. The Platinum Featherweight is constructed with a third leg that gives it a rounder more aerodynamic body, and a smoother taper. With this you get a more wind resistant wind cutting leader, improved turnover, control, accuracy, and delicate presentations. This makes it the softest landing and best presentation for your fly on the water, and a better more natural drift due to the lack of memory. By far the best performing dry fly leader on the market.
Leader Specifications:
- 0-3wt 5ft long 7lb breaking strength
- 4-6wt 7ft long 11lb breaking strength
- 7-8wt 7ft long 16lb breaking strength
- 9-10wt 7ft long 20lb breaking strength
This leader is constructed of the finest low-stretch Polyester thread from butt to tip end. It also has a stiffer core material to enhance turn over power but keep its suppleness desired in a furled leader. To fish dries and float simply add your favorite float paste or leave untreated to fish subsurface. This leader is built for performance and durability.
Our tippet rings are now made in Japan and are super smooth for best performance and allows you to use tippet as small as 8x.
