We designed the Lippa4Life to allow anglers to safely control and release all species of toothy fish. With our Lippa4Life we built in a 1/8” gap on closed jaws so that they would be gentle on fish jaws with holding. We also made them like pliers so that an angler could keep the fish held horizontally in the water. This in-water release method protects the fish and adds a level of safety for the fisherman.
If you are targeting species that weigh more than 12-15 lbs the Aluminum version may be better because it does not flex. The special blend of nylon and fiberglass we inject in our mold is durable at any temperature and extremely strong, but it has a small degree of flex.
