Tip
Tip: Retrieve all the way to the boat and stay ready for a last-second eat
How to do it: Keep moving the fly through the entire retrieve, expecting follows farther than you think
Mistake it fixes: Pulling the fly out too early
Why it works: Predators often follow for a long distance and eat at the last moment. Lifting early ends the presentation just as the fish commits.
When it matters most: Predator fishing from a boat
