Tip
Tip: Twitch stoneflies occasionally to trigger explosive strikes
How to do it: Give a stonefly a small twitch up or down to add life and trigger a big eat
Mistake it fixes: Dead-drifting stoneflies only
Why it works: A twitch imitates a struggling or moving insect. That movement can turn a look into a strike, especially from large, territorial trout.
When it matters most: Stonefly fishing
