24/7 Support While You're on the Road

What Frontiers Handles

24/7 Support While You're on the Road

Frontiers International Travel answers its phones 24 hours a day and provides a 24-hour emergency contact while you travel. If a flight is cancelled, a connection is missed or something goes wrong on the way to the lodge, you reach a person at the company that built your trip, not an airline queue. Save that contact before you leave.

What does Frontiers' 24/7 support help with?

  • Flight disruptions: the Frontiers Air team steps in when flights are cancelled, schedules change, or strikes and weather cause delays.
  • Rebuilding the plan: when one leg moves, the people who booked your lodge and transfers can adjust the rest of the trip around it.
  • Anything else that goes sideways: Frontiers describes its around-the-clock support as there for any bumps in your travel journey, through the entire process.

What can 24/7 support not do for you?

Frontiers is your travel company, not the airline, the lodge, your insurer or a medical service. In a medical emergency, call local emergency services first. Insurance claims go to your insurer, so keep your policy number with your travel documents (see Travel Protection Through Frontiers). And a remote lodge may have limited phone or internet service, so plan how you would reach anyone from there.

How should I prepare before I leave?

  • Save the Frontiers emergency contact from your trip documents in your phone and on paper.
  • Keep your flight confirmation numbers, lodge contact and insurance policy number together.
  • Enroll in the State Department's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for an international trip.
  • Leave a copy of your itinerary with someone at home.

Questions to Ask Your Frontiers Specialist

  • What number do I call after hours while I am traveling, and who answers?
  • Does my lodge have reliable phone or internet, and how do I reach Frontiers from there?
  • If my flight is cancelled, should I call Frontiers or the airline first?
