Purple Haze Soft Hackle

Purple Haze Soft Hackle

The Purple Haze Soft Hackle is a versatile wet fly and emerger that combines the proven attractor appeal of purple with the lifelike movement of a soft hackle collar — a deadly combination when trout are feeding subsurface on emerging insects or swimming nymphs. Fished on the swing, dead-drifted through runs, or lifted at the end of a drift to imitate an ascending emerger, the soft hackle's pulsing fibers breathe and flex with every current variation, triggering strikes from trout that ignore more rigid patterns. Simple in construction, deadly in execution — the Purple Haze Soft Hackle is a must-have wet fly for any angler who swings flies.
